Profile Oiltraining B.V.

Oiltraining.nl was founded in 2002 by Paul Deelen. Ton Visser joined the management of Oiltraining B.V. in 2010. Ton Visser has worked extensively in and for the oil, gas and chemical industry since 1985 in the field of refinery and chemical operations, including storage/blending, safety and environmental. Ton Visser is also an expert in the field of marine gas oil and bunker fuel oils. At the end of 2022 Paul Deelen retired and Ton Visser now forms the management of Oiltraining B.V.

1-day course Gas oil blending

This course is specifically intended for staff who have to deal with the blending of gas oil and diesel, as well as the purchase, quality control, storage and transshipment or sales of gas oil/diesel fuels. Initially, this course is intended as a follow-up to the 4-day Oil Products course, but people who have sufficient background in this course can also participate, for example gained through work experience.

Biodiesel is increasingly used as a blending component in gas oil/diesel. What is it? How is it produced? What properties does it have? How does it affect gas oil/diesel fuel quality? What should we pay extra attention to? These are just some of the questions addressed during this day.

This course day provides a global overview of the crude oil industry and the most important properties of the oil products such as LPG, gasoline, kerosene, gas oil and (residual) fuel oil.

3-day course BunkerExperience

The three-day, all-inclusive BunkerExperience course offers an unbeatable combination of theory and real-life bunker experience. During the course students are prepared to the 'real life' experience of working on a bunker barge, working in a test laboratory and 'going to the seaport' for close-up images of different types of ships.
